The Golden Pie is a synthesized item in Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland.
It is the highest ranking item in Atelier Rorona, being the only item that requires an alchemy level of 50. The Golden Pie is required for the "Pie Shop Ending" and can also help in achieving the "Millionaire" ending as well, as it is such an expensive and coveted item.
In order to be able to make the Golden Pie, Rorona must create all "Alchemy Pies" (Living Pie, Pielixir, Piemeteor and Dunkelpiet) before she will obtain the recipe book "Ultimate Pie" with the Golden Pie recipe in it. Having access to Orthogalaxen and making it to floor 14 for the "Emerald Plate" recipe book is also required, as this has the recipe for Gold in it. Alternatively, Esty will exchange gold for tickets if all of her personal requests have been met. Gold will also be dropped by the area boss of Ortogalaxen, the Iron Giant if defeated.
Once the pie has been created, register it at the Sunrise Cafe so it doesn't have to be made again. Although it is is expensive to buy, Esty will always pay more than it costs if she requests it at the castle as a Front Quest. It can also be turned in to Sterk at the castle during the very last assignment for a guaranteed 10 star rating.
